The AI Kitchen (AIK) will provide secure environments for AI projects, with appropriate data access, vetted AI applications, and technical frameworks for procurement and data handling to enable human-centered, responsible AI adoption at U of T.
The AIK is a core recommendation of the AI Task Force Report, and is co-sponsored by Professor Susan McCahan, AVP & VP, Digital Strategies, and Donna Kidwell, CIO, Information Technology Services.
Currently, the AIK is in its pre-launch phase. The AIK is actively engaging with the U of T community to understand what tools, products, and services they want to see.
